Workshop "Child mobilities and migration: Transitions to adulthood in South-South Migrations" - A workshop organized in the framework of the Point Sud Programme of DFG

Together with Dr. Henrietta Njamnjoh (University of Cape Town, South Africa) and Dr. Gabriel Sangli (Université Ki-Zerbo, Burkina Faso), and financed by the Point Sud programm of the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft, Erdmute Alber is actually organising a workshop in Ouagadougou (Burkina Faso) in which different perspectives on child migration are brought together. Children and childhood is an under researched theme in migration studies, however they are numerous in the complex migratory movements.
